Afrikoni is a B2B trade workspace, not a guarantee that every listed company has completed formal business verification. A Verified badge must be backed by the supplier record. Payment protection appears only on trades routed through a configured payment flow.
How does Afrikoni work?
Describe the product, quantity, specification, origin preference, and destination. Afrikoni searches the live catalogue and can structure a quote request when no suitable listing exists. Supplier matches and scores are displayed only from current database results; payment and settlement states advance only after provider and trade-event confirmation.

Afrikoni is designed around African-origin sourcing, trade documentation, and cross-border workflows. Coverage varies with the suppliers, products, tariff sources, and providers currently connected to the platform.
How is pricing structured?
No subscription, no listing fee, no KYC fee — Afrikoni earns only when a trade completes. The fee is 6% of a first order in total, split evenly: the buyer is charged 3% and 3% is deducted from the supplier's settlement. Both halves drop on reorders — 1.5% for the buyer, 1.5% for the supplier. Cross-border payments and FX add 2.5%. Minimum fee $15; minimum protected order $400. - Available checkout methods depend on the configured provider and the trade corridor. Afrikoni does not claim Flutterwave or PAPSS availability without live credentials. A trade cannot be marked settled unless the release endpoint confirms success.
- How long does a trade take?
- Timing depends on the accepted quote, production terms, carrier evidence, destination, and review requirements recorded for that trade. Afrikoni does not publish a universal completion time.
- What languages does Afrikoni support?
- The public router currently exposes 4 languages: en, fr, ar, sw. Individual transactional screens may still fall back to English when a translation is missing.
